$30K Crowning Commitment to Hospice Quinte

The Comfort of Home Campaign Chair Marty Halloran, Crown Ridge Health Care Services CEO/CFO Greg Freeman, Hospice Quinte Executive Director Jennifer May-Anderson, and Donor Relations & Communications Manager Sandi Ramsay.

Hospice Quinte has received a crowning commitment of $30,000 over the next 10-years thanks to a local family-owned corporation. Crown Ridge Health Care Services announced the pledge of a $3,000 gift annually, over a decade, during a special cheque presentation at Hospice Quinte’s Stan Klemencic Care Centre yesterday. The funding supports The Comfort of Home Campaign, a $500K fundraising effort to assist Hospice Quinte with operational costs, including its renowned six bed hospice care residence that opened last year.

“Long-term pledges like this help build sustainability for the continued delivery of quality hospice palliative care in Quinte and assist Hospice Quinte greatly in planning for the future,” says Sandi Ramsay, Donor Relations & Communications Manager. “This investment by Crown Ridge Health Care Services is a testament to their care for community and we are extremely grateful to be recipients of the company’s progressive generosity.”

Crown Ridge Health Care Services is a 100% family owned and operated corporation serving the communities of Quinte West, Belleville and Napanee since 1974.

“We are delighted to support the good work of Hospice Quinte with this multi-year contribution understanding that the specialized services they provide are essential to the needs of our community,” says Crown Ridge Health Care CEO/CFO, Greg Freeman. “And further, we are proud to make this gift in memory of our loved ones, including my mother Suzanne Freeman, my uncle Don Freeman and our close family friend Milan Cocek.”
