DESCRIPTION:Living with a life-limiting illness can bring many changes, challenges, and emotions.\nHospice Quinte’s Living with a Serious Illness Support Group offers a safe, compassionate space for people living with serious illness to connect with others who understand what they are experiencing.\nFacilitated by hospice staff, the group provides an opportunity to share experiences, feelings, and concerns; give and receive peer support; and explore ways to cope with the challenges of living with illness. The focus is on connection, understanding, and supporting quality of life throughout the illness journey.\nThis support group is provided free to those living with an illness limiting their life expectancy, registration is required to attend.\nThis group is not open to the public. All Hospice Quinte programs and services are provided at no charge by compassionate and well-trained staff and volunteers\n
