Hospice Quinte is pleased to have received a $12K gift thanks to the Bay of Quinte Mutual Insurance Company who raised the money at their annual charity golf tournament held on August 3rd. Over 100 golfers took part in the event at Timber Ridge Golf Course in Brighton, with all proceeds benefitting Hospice Quinte’s The Comfort of Home annual fundraising campaign.
The grand opening of Hospice Quinte’s new Stan Klemencic Care Centre was celebrated September 29, 2021 with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and tour of the facility by local dignitaries, community partners, key stakeholders and donors.
Hospice Quinte is delighted to unveil a new name for its hospice palliative care centre in honour of a $1-million-dollar gift made by the Klemencic family. The remarkable contribution, donated in loving memory of the family’s patriarch, will see the new centre named the Stan Klemencic Care Centre.

Sidney Spiegel, Founder and Chairman of the Board, of Crawford Steel, is well-known for boosting economic viability across the Quinte Region and sharing the wealth with local charitable organizations by supporting key community projects.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk, on behalf of the City of Belleville, proudly presented Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson, with a cheque for $225,000 this afternoon.
