Naming and dedication opportunities are available for many of the spaces inside the Hospice Quinte Care Centre, and offer a great way to preserve your legacy or make a lasting tribute to a loved one. Each naming opportunity will be recognized on the donor wall at the Centre, and on a specially designed sign in the designated area that they have made possible.

All gifts can be pledged on a flexible payment schedule over 3-5 years.

Hospice Quinte Care Centre – $1,000,000

The Hospice Quinte Care Centre will be a safe, comfortable, quiet and welcoming place that feels as close to home as possible. Professional care will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and at no cost to the family.

Community Wing – $250,000

The Community Wing of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre contains 4 Hospice Quinte staff member offices – including the Fundraising Office, the Communications & Donor Relations Office, the Administration Office and the Executive Director’s Office – the Multi-Use Meeting Room, 3 Gender Neutral Public Washrooms, Staff Washrooms, and the Staff/Volunteer Kitchenette and Locker Area.

Reception & Waiting Area – $150,000

The homey nostalgia of the Reception & Waiting Area warmly welcomes each guest to the Hospice Quinte Care Centre, where the highest level of hospice palliative care available is provided.

Multi-Use Meeting Room – $150,000

The well-appointed Multi-Use Meeting Room offers a private place within the Centre for volunteer training and education, medical and legal consultation for family members, use by the public, and for staff meetings.

Specialty Resident Suite #1 – $100,000

This Specialty Resident Suite will feature an identical layout, aesthetic and amenities as the other Resident Suites, but it will also be equipped with a bariatric lift.

Specialty Resident Suite #2 – $100,000

This Specialty Resident Suite will feature an identical layout, aesthetic and amenities as the other Resident Suites, but it will also be equipped with special ventilation to accommodate smudging ceremonies.

Exterior Hardscape & Perimeter Landscape – $75,000

The Exterior Hardscape & Perimeter Landscape will help to create a home-like aesthetic and provide a serene outdoor space for residents, families, visitors and staff.

Typical Resident Suite #2 – $75,000

Each private, comfortably appointed Resident Suite features accommodation for an overnight guest, a bathroom and outdoor patio. The Hospice Quinte Care Centre has 4 typical Resident Suites.

Typical Resident Suite #3 – $75,000

Nurse Station – $75,000

Nurses and other health care staff can be found at the Nurse Station when not working directly with residents of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre.

The Family Laundry room provides individuals wishing to launder their own or their loved ones personal belongings with the amenities needed and privacy to do so. 

Family Washroom – $25,000

The Family Washroom is a clean, private space within the Centre where families can tend to their needs without having to leave. It features all of the comforts from home and amenities one would require for personal care, including a full shower.

Communications & Donor Relations Office – $25,000

The Communications & Donor Relations Office is the communications and community engagement hub of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre. Staff work to creatively generate awareness, advocacy, philanthropic support, and educate our community about hospice palliative care and the benefits of receiving support from Hospice Quinte. Fundraising and special events, donor relationship building, and volunteer appreciation are also key areas of focus. The Communications & Donor Relations Office is located in the Community Wing.

Community Hospice Coordinator Office – $25,000

The Community Hospice Coordinator Office is where client needs are assessed, volunteer/client connections are made, and our services are evaluated. The development and delivery of our bereavement support services, and volunteer training, education, and engagement are also areas of focus. This office is located in the Support Services Wing.

Community Hospice Office – $25,000

In the Community Hospice Office you will find students and interns working to develop their skills in end of life care, as well as develop special programs for Hospice Quinte in the community and at the Centre. It’s a space focused on growth and expansion for the future. This office is located in the Support Services Wing.

The Hospice Care Wing is truly the heart of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre. The Hospice Care Wing features 2 Utility Rooms, Nurse Station, Medical Room, Consultation Room, 6 Private Resident Suites, and 2 of the Centre’s Sun Rooms.

Support Services Wing – $250,000

The Support Services Wing of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre contains 3 Hospice Quinte Staff Member Offices – the Community Hospice Manager Office, the Community Hospice Coordinator Office, and the Community Hospice Office – the Quiet Room, a Public Washroom, the Family Washroom, and Family Laundry Room.

The Resident Kitchen will provide proper nourishment for clients of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre. It is equipped with the food preparation amenities needed to allow staff and volunteers to prepare small meals, like soups, meal replacement shakes and soft foods, suitable for clients in our care.

Family Dining Room & Kitchen – $100,000

The Family Dining Room & Kitchen is a place for nourishment and togetherness. It is equipped with the dining and food preparation amenities needed so families can share a quick snack, cup of coffee or meal together.

Public Outdoor Patio – $75,000

The Public Outdoor Patio provides a beautiful natural outdoor space for families, visitors, volunteers and staff to enjoy.

Mind, body and spirit are the focus of the Quiet Room. Residents can receive comfort care and other complementary therapies to aid their physical, mental and spiritual well-being in this area of the Centre.

Donor Recognition Wall – $50,000

The Donor Wall will be one of the first visual elements families, visitors and other guests of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre will see when they arrive. The Donor Wall is tastefully designed to celebrate and acknowledge the generous contributions of Hospice Quinte’s donors.

The Fundraising Office is located in the Community Wing of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre.

The Medical Room is a secured area within the Hospice Quinte Care Centre that contains the medications and other medical supplies required to provide end-of-life care to residents.

The Consultation Room is a private area for families and loved ones to meet with medical and other supports as needed.

Staff & Volunteer Area – $25,000

The Staff & Volunteer Area features a locker area, kitchenette and dining amenities that can be used by the Centre’s staff and volunteers. 

Director’s Office – $25,000

The Director’s Office is located in the Community Wing of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre.

Community Hospice Manager Office – $25,000

The Community Hospice Manager Office is an integral part of providing our hospice palliative care and bereavement support services. It’s here where most individuals become first engaged in their journey to receiving end of life care or support to manage the challenges of grief. Staff work meticulously to ensure individuals receive compassionate, personalized care, at no-cost, when they need it the most. The Community Hospice Manager Office is located in the Support Services Wing.

Admin Office – $25,000

The Admin Office is located in the Community Wing of the Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
