The Knights of Columbus Council 2438 in Trenton set a shining example today by making a $7,500 donation to Hospice Quinte’s Heart & Home Building Campaign. This latest gift has helped Hospice Quinte reach over 95% of its $9.5M capital campaign goal in support of the new Stan Klemencic Care Centre.

“The funds for this donation were raised through the Knights of Columbus’ virtual walk-a-thon which was held between October 12th and 31st,” says Hospice Quinte Executive Director, Jennifer May-Anderson. “With less than 2 months remaining before wrapping up the `Heart & Home Building Campaign’, this wonderful contribution made possible by the Knights of Columbus in Trenton comes as a greatly appreciated gift.”

“The Knights of Columbus vigorously defends the dignity of each human being at every stage of life,” says Bruce Bellefeuille, Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council 2438 in Trenton. “The work Hospice Quinte does aligns with our core values and we are pleased to support Hospice Quinte with our donation today.”
