Increasing Hospice Palliative Care Capacity from 6 Beds to 10 Beds

Hospice Quinte - More Heart, More Home

More Heart, More Home

🏗️ Expanding Care for Our Community

Hospice Quinte is expanding the Stan Klemencic Care Centre increasing hospice palliative care capacity from 6 beds to 10 beds.

Together, we’re building more comfort, more dignity, and more support for families across the Quinte region.

Construction begins Spring 2026 | Completion anticipated Spring 2027

Why This Expansion Matters

As the need for hospice palliative care continues to grow in our region, more families are relying on Hospice Quinte for compassionate end-of-life support close to home.

This expansion ensures:

  • More individuals can receive care when they need it
  • Families can remain close and supported
  • Our community continues to have access to high-quality hospice palliative care locally

We are very excited to announce this expansion. The additional beds will allow us to provide excellent end-of-life care to even more people in the Quinte region.
