The frightfully fun and pandemic-friendly ‘Halloween for Hospice Car Rally’ resulted in a fang-tastic time for more than 65 participants and several spook-tacular volunteers who helped raise $9,146 in support of the future Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
Local MPP Todd Smith is happy to hear that Hospice Quinte has raised more than half the funds needed to build the new Hospice Quinte Care Centre. Smith says, “I was very pleased to hear that Hospice Quinte has surpassed the halfway mark in their fundraising efforts to build a hospice residence for the Quinte area. This facility will meet a real need in the community and will help us work toward ending hallway healthcare.”
Hospice Quinte is excited to announce that it is closing in on its fundraising goal to build a new hospice residence for the Quinte area. Executive Director Jennifer May-Anderson says, “The community has embraced the project wholeheartedly and we are thrilled to announce, that in less than a year, we have raised well over 54% of our $9.5 million goal with many more funding opportunities to pursue.”
